Payment options
Deposits (50%) can be paid via:
- Direct bank transfer (with your name as the transaction description)
- Credit card payment over the phone
Remaining balance 30 days prior to your event can be paid via:
- Eftpos
- Credit Card
- Cash
Cheques / money orders will not be accepted.
Cancelation policy
Sometimes things don't go to plan... if you need to cancel your booking, please give RJ as much notice as possible. Unfortunately your deposit is non-refundable, however you will not be charged the remaining balance.
On a very rare occasion, RJ may need to cancel the booking at short notice due to sickness, family emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, RJ will give as much notice as possible and will attempt to find a suitable replacement for your event. If a suitable replacement cannot be found, RJ will offer a full refund of the deposit amount.

We understand that the options provided may not be suitable for every wedding. If you would like a customised quote for your specific wedding day plans, please let us know.
Wedding bookings & payments
To secure RJ Unplugged for your upcoming wedding, a minimum of a 50% deposit is due within 7 days of the invoice date. Once the deposit is paid your booking has been secured. RJ reserves the right to offer bookings to other parties if a deposit hasn't been paid within 7 days of the invoice date.
The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the date of your wedding.
On the day
Here are a list of practical considerations to help RJ Unplugged provide beautiful music at your wedding without any mishaps:
- Will there be a power supply close to where you would like the musicians to be set up? A minimum 2 x power inlets is ideal to avoid overload. RJ Unplugged can provide music without a power supply if need be.
- Is the setup space undercover and protected from the elements in the case of poor weather?
- Trip Hazards. Running leads across walk ways should be avoided if possible.
- Does the venue have a specific sound/ decibel limit?
For most wedding venues, there will be a specific space set aside for wedding musicians. If you have any questions about the above points, RJ is happy to consult with you and help you work out the best set up options.
Breaks
RJ is allocated 15 minutes break time per hour, as per the industry standard. Where possible breaks will be taken in accordance with your wedding schedule for items such as speeches, MC introductions etc.
Please note** Suitable background music will be played through our PA during breaks.
Terms & Conditions (Non Wedding Bookings)
What is the minimum booking?
Generally, RJ only accepts bookings that are at least three consecutive hours in duration for corporate or private bookings.
How much notice is required for a private/ corporate booking?
To avoid disappointment , please confirm your booking with your deposit no later than four weeks prior to your event.
How much is the deposit and when is it due?
The deposit required for all bookings is 50% of the total quote. This deposit is due 4 weeks prior to your event. If your booking is made within 4 weeks of your event, the deposit is due immediately. Once the deposit is paid, your booking has been secured. RJ reserves the right to offer bookings to other parties within 4 weeks of your event, if a deposit has not been paid.
Once the deposit is paid, when is the remaining balance due?
The final balance will be paid in full upon arrival at your event or within 7 days of the invoice date.
