RJ Unplugged EPK

RJ Unplugged is a charismatic solo or duo ensemble, best known for their energising acoustic sets. As a solo act, RJ Bentley commands the room with his vocal depth and rich, rock acoustic sound. And as a magnetic brother-sister duo, it’s hard to go past the combination of RJ’s nimble guitar work and hearty vocals with Jessica’s soft, but powerful harmonies and dynamic drumming.

Whatever the setting, RJ Unplugged captivates listeners, playing from their solid repertoire of music to suit every occasion; from ambient dinner music to heart-thumping dance floor hits. Their sound is inspired by Rock/folk/pop legends like Fleetwood Mac, Imagine Dragons, Cat Stevens, Ed Sheeran, Elton John, Crowded House, Powderfinger, The Pretenders, Radiohead, Something for Kate and INXS.

It’s these nostalgic influences that inspired RJ and Jess to find their own 'unplugged acoustic' sound. And it’s clear they’ve found their feet with the upcoming release of RJ’s original folk, pop track ‘Sticks and Stones’.

The debut single has the soul of Don McLean’s ‘American Pie’ and the upbeat folk/pop vibe of ‘Here Comes the Sun’, by The Beatles and will be released mid-2022.
